Divergence Peak-Trough Indicator anticipates crossover signals in momentum oscillaotrs by identifying bullish and bearish divergences.
- A Peak-Trough Bullish Divergence occurs when price forms a new Low (a lower trough than the last) but the indicator does not.
- A Peak-Trough Bearish Divergence occurs when price forms a new High (a higher peak than the last) but the indicator does not.
Peak-Trough Divergences can be used to filter signals from other indicators, which will reduce the number of trades but will give you further confirmation whether to enter the market or wait instead.
